Direct to Film (DTF) Transfers Instructions

What is DTF?
DTF is a process where designs are printed directly onto a film, allowing them to be applied to almost any substrate/material and on any color item.

Important Notes:

• Each heat press can vary in temperature and pressure accuracy. Adjustments may be necessary for your specific press. We highly recommend using a heat gun for verification.
• We are not responsible for any pressing issues due to inaccurate temperature or pressure settings.

Application Instructions:

1. High Pressure: (8-9 manual) 60 PSI Automatic
2. Cold Peel

Temperature and Time Settings by Material:

• Poly Blend: Temp: 275°F, Time: 10 sec
• Tri Blend: Temp: 275°F, Time: 10 sec
• 50/50 Blend: Temp: 300°F, Time: 12 sec
• Cotton: Temp: 325°F, Time: 15 sec

Best Practices:

• Double press with parchment paper for optimal results.
• Ensure you are knowledgeable about your heat press settings, including temperature, pressure, and peeling technique.
• Avoid using non-commercial grade heat presses or irons with our transfers.

Verification:

• Use a heat gun to check the temperature.
• Conduct a pressure test before pressing.

Post-Press Care:

• Do not wash the items for at least 48 hours to allow the design to set properly.
• Refer to additional care instructions for both transfers and pressed garments here.
